The hydraulic motor of a forklift is the core power component of the hydraulic system
of an electric forklift. It is responsible for driving the hydraulic pump to generate high-pressure
oil, thereby achieving operations such as lifting and lowering the forks and tilting the mast.
Working principles& Core function:
1. Power source:
Powered by a battery, the motor drives the gear pump to rotate, converting electrical energy
into hydraulic energy.
2. Energy conversion:
The output shaft of the motor drives the hydraulic pump to draw hydraulic oil from the oil tank
and pressurize it, forming a high-pressure oil flow.
This flow is distributed through multi-way valves to the lifting or tilting hydraulic cylinder, pushing
the piston to move and completing mechanical actions.
3. Dual-motor design:
Electric forklifts are typically equipped with two independent motors - the walking motor and the
hydraulic pump motor, which respectively control the vehicle's movement and loading/unloading
operations, enhancing operational efficiency and control accuracy.
Performance characteristics:
1.Durable design:
High-quality hydraulic motors can support continuous operation for 8 to 10 hours, making them
suitable for high-intensity warehousing and logistics scenarios.
2. Speed regulation and control:
In coordination with the motor controller, it achieves stepless speed change, precisely responds
to operation instructions, has a smooth start, high torque at low speed, and avoids the "runaway"
phenomenon.
