The fuel injector assembly is a core precision component of fuel supply system for internal
combustion forklift engines. It is mainly applicable to diesel-powered counterbalance forklifts,
pallet forklifts and other industrial internal combustion handling equipment.
As a key execution part of engine fuel atomization and fuel supply control, it directly determines
the fuel combustion efficiency, power performance, fuel economy and exhaust emission standards
of the forklift engine, and is crucial to the stable operation and service life of the whole machine.
Key Components Including:
A typical diesel injector is made up of several precision parts:
1. Nozzle& Needle Valve: The tip where fuel is sprayed. The needle opens and closes the spray holes.
2. Solenoid or Piezo Actuator: The electrical component that triggers the injector.
3. Pressure Regulating Spring: Keeps the needle closed until the fuel pressure is high enough to open it.
4. Injector Body& Filter: The housing that contains the internal parts and filters debris from the fuel.
How does it Works:
The injector consists of a solenoid (or piezo actuator), a nozzle, and a needle valve inside the
injector body.
1. Actuation: The engine control unit (ECU) sends an electrical signal to the injector's solenoid.
2. Opening: This signal energizes the solenoid, which causes the needle to lift off its seat, opening
the nozzle.
3. Injection: High-pressure fuel is forced through the tiny nozzle holes, creating a fine spray that mixes
with the compressed, hot air in the cylinder and auto-ignites.
4. Closing: When the signal stops, the needle returns to its seat, sealing the nozzle and ending the
injection event.
