According to the latest statistics from the China Construction Machinery Association,
the overall sales volume of forklifts in December 2025 was 111,400 units, representing a year-on-year
growth of 0.03%. Among them, domestic sales reached 63,800 units, a year-on-year decrease of 5.17%.
Overseas sales reached 47,600 units, representing a year-on-year growth of 7.97%.
In 2025, the cumulative sales volume of forklifts reached 1.4518 million units, representing
a year-on-year growth of 12.9%. Among them, domestic sales reached 906,800 units, representing a year
-on-year growth of 12.6%. Export sales reached 545,000 units, representing a year-on-year growth of 13.4%.
In 2025, a total of 585,179 forklifts excluding electric walking warehouse vehicles were sold,
representing a year-on-year growth of 5.46%.
Both domestic and foreign sales of forklifts increased throughout the year.
In 2025, the domestic sales of forklifts increased by 12.6%, reaching a double-digit growth rate.
This was attributed to the recovery of domestic demand for forklifts, showing a sustained growth trend.
From the perspective of domestic macro data, the demand for forklifts is related to the prosperity of the
manufacturing industry and warehousing and logistics. In terms of logistics data, the total social logistics
volume in November 2025 increased by 5.0% year-on-year, maintaining a steady growth.
In December 2025, the new orders index of the manufacturing PMI reached 50.8%, with a strong
month-on-month growth of 1.6 percentage points. The manufacturing prosperity index rebounded to a
level close to the expansion range of production activities. The prosperity of macro indicators is gradually
improving, and domestic demand is gradually recovering.
In terms of export performance, the export of forklifts in 2025 increased by 13.4% year-on-year, growing
in tandem with domestic sales. From a macro perspective, the new export orders index of the manufacturing
PMI in December 2025 reached 49.0%, increasing by 1.4 percentage points month-on-month.
In December 2025, the export trade volume of China's construction machinery reached 6.417 billion US dollars,
increasing by 27.2% year-on-year, with a positive overseas demand. The overall sales volume of forklifts is
expected to show a steady growth trend in 2025, and this growth trend may continue into 2026.
