Fork Side Shifter is a critical hydraulic attachment for forklifts, designed to enhance material
handling efficiency. Unlike manual adjusters, it allows the operator to adjust the distance between
the forks or shift them laterally without leaving the driver's seat.
It's mounted between the forklift's carriage and the forks. It utilizes a hydraulic cylinder to move
the forks left or right as a single unit, enabling precise load placement without repositioning the entire
vehicle.
Dual Functionality:
1. Side Shifting: Moves both forks simultaneously sideways to position loads accurately.
2. Fork Positioning: On models with independent cylinders, allows the widening or narrowing of fork
spread to handle various load sizes.
