With the rapid development of the global logistics equipment industry, based on in-depth research and data
integration of domestic and international forklift markets, the "Top 20 Global Forklift Suppliers Ranking 2024"
is released. This ranking combines the revenue data, market performance and technological development trends
of major global forklift manufacturers. Among the top 20 enterprises, more than ten have already laid out lithium
battery product lines, reflecting the definite trend of technological transformation in the industry.
1.Chinese enterprises have performed outstandingly. In this list, Chinese forklift enterprises occupy 9 seats.
Including Heli (7th place), Hangcha (8th place), Zhongli (12th place), and Longgong (14th place) The technological
breakthroughs and global layout of Chinese enterprises have further enhanced their international competitiveness.
2. International giants remain at the forefront. Toyota Automatic Loom (TICO) has retained the top spot with a
revenue of 18.26 billion US dollars. Its integrated Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) has further
strengthened its market position. KION and Jungheinrich ranked second and third respectively, with electrification and
automation solutions remaining their core strengths. Crown ranked fourth with a revenue increase of 14.29%, and its
technologies such as the liDAR assisted system have led industry innovation
Qualification Requirements:
To be ranked among the top 20 forklifts, a company must manufacture and sell forklifts in at least one of the seven
types defined by the Industrial Forklift Association (ITA, indtrk.org). Forklift classification (ITA Standard) :
Class I: Electric forklifts, equipped with pneumatic tires or shock-absorbing tires.
Class II: Narrow-aisle electric forklifts, equipped with solid tires.
Class III: Electric manual forklifts/manual forklifts, equipped with solid tires.
Class IV: Internal combustion ride-on forklifts, equipped with shock-absorbing tires, suitable for hard roads and indoor operations.
Class V: Internal combustion ride-on forklifts, equipped with pneumatic tires, suitable for outdoor use on rough surfaces.
Class VI: Electric or internal combustion drive standing forklifts, capable of towing (not lifting) at least 1,000 pounds of materials.
Class VII: Diesel engine-driven, pneumatic tires, outdoor off-road forklifts suitable for rough terrain
Ranking Basis:
Based on the global revenue of each company from industrial vehicles (i.e. forklifts) in the most recent fiscal year.
Only the revenue directly related to forklift sales is counted, excluding the revenue from off-road vehicles in industries
such as construction. Foreign currency income shall be uniformly converted at the exchange rate as of December 31, 2024
